Outstanding Reading Growth!

Cornerstone Prep Lester Campus saw outstanding reading level growth in 2014-2015. The charts below reveal that Cornerstone Prep students across the entire school improved their reading level by more than 1.5 grade levels in just 1 year.

Students in all grades displayed outstanding improvement. Our youngest students in kindergarten started the year at or slightly below grade level on average and yet they ended last year more than half of a school year ahead of grade level. These students are truly on the path to college!

In a similar way our oldest Cornerstone Prep students also grew more than 1.5 grade levels in just one year.

We all know the importance of reading, not only for the success of students in other subjects, but for their overall success in life. We are thrilled to see our Prepsters making such amazing and important progress.
