CPD Earns Reward School Designation

Congratulations to Cornerstone Prep Denver for earning the most prestigious award given to schools by the state of Tennessee - Reward School Designation! That designation is only given to schools that earn an overall rating of 3.1 or higher.

Not only that, but CPD was one of only a few schools that scored higher in 2021 than they did before the pandemic, earning the designation as a “Changemaker Charter School.” These schools  scored in the top 25% of all public schools in Tennessee with an increase in the percentage of students proficient over pre-pandemic (2019) TNReady scores in ELA and TVAAs scores of 3 or above! 

We welcomed Maya Bugg, CEO of the Tennessee Charter School Center, to the Cornerstone Prep Denver campus on Friday, September 16, where she presented scholars and teachers with a “Changemaker Charter School” banner to acknowledge and celebrate this achievement.
