Educator Spotlight | Lacee Rodgers

Lacee Rodgers serves as the Director of Academic Achievement (6-8) for Capstone Education Group. She is originally from Mobile, Alabama; however, after being here for nearly a decade, she is officially calling Memphis her new home! She is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University, having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English. A life-long learner, Lacee went on to earn her M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and her Ed. S in Educational Leadership. She is currently completing her Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.

A fun fact about Lacee is that she comes from a long line of educators. She is passionate about teaching, both inside and outside of the classroom. She finds joy in teaching dance and drama at her church. Lacee is in love with the arts. For fun, she often enjoys listening to live music and going to see dance performances. Lacee takes pride in knowing that if she can touch just one person each day, then she has made the world just a little bit better.
