Educator Spotlight | Natasha Langford
February 12, 2021
“I chose to work in education because I wanted to make a difference in my community. I believe all students should receive the best education, and that they should be challenged to overcome obstacles along their path.”
Originally from Memphis, Natasha Langford attended Memphis Central High School and graduated from the University of Memphis. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Memphis and a Master of Education degree from Christian Brothers University.
Working as a 2nd grade teacher at Cornerstone Prep Denver, Natasha describes what celebratory moments with students are like.
“I smile each morning that I see my students, and I celebrate with them every day. I love to see their aha moments as they continuously grow. I celebrate birthdays and other special moments with my students.”

She loves seeing how much her students have grown over the course of a year and is overjoyed when she sees them later graduate from high school and college. Natasha’s goal for this year is to continue to keep her students encouraged and motivated in order to continue learning through the pandemic. “I want to continue to move them forward into becoming strong successful readers and mathematicians,” Natasha says.
When Natasha is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Let’s all congratulate Natasha for her contribution and for being the Spotlight of the Week!
