Staff Spotlight | Dwayne Clark

Dwayne Clark has worked as a Behavior interventionist and as the Head Football coach of the undefeated Lester Prep Lions since 2018.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dwayne attended Charles P. Steinmetz High School and North Park University (Go Vikings!).  He is dedicated to positively influencing and enriching the lives of youth in Memphis. “I worked for the Sheriff’s Department Corrections Division, and after 20 years of service, I decided that I could make a more influential impact on the lives of individuals by focusing on the education of our youth.”

Dwayne is happy to help motivate and positively change the lives of our students. “The most rewarding part of working is seeing our scholars excel to their full potential.” His aim is to help students stay on board and focused academically during in-person and virtual learning. When Dwayne is not coaching or working, he enjoys painting, drawing, and listening to the blues.

You inspire us with your great work! Let’s all congratulate Dwayne for his contribution and for being the Spotlight of the Week!
