Ericka Hull | Educator Spotlight

Ericka Hull, the k-2 Dean of Instruction at Cornerstone Prep Denver, was born in Memphis and attended Whitehaven High School before graduating from University of Tennessee at Martin.

Ericka believes that urban education chose her after graduation. “I believe with my whole heart that urban education chose me," says Ericka. “I get the privilege to educate my future doctor, nurse, or lawyer. I know that because I've been blessed to make a difference through hard work, dedication, support, and love.”

Ericka has seen the CEG mantra, “college prep begins in kindergarten,” lived out through one of her former students. “One of my students, Madyson, made up in her mind that one day she would attend NYU and pursue her dreams,” shares Ericka. “This past fall she did just that - she is now a freshman at NYU.  To watch her grow from a Pre-Kindergartener to now a freshman in colleg... all I can say is thanks be unto God for allowing me to be right there with her every step of the way.”

Ericka loves Memphis food, the special moments when scholars get the “aha moment” and working for CEG. Look for Ericka around the Denver Campus now and one future day on the movie screen as she lives out her big dream of becoming an actress!
