“THE PEOPLE!” exclaims Renee Hudlow, Lester Prep Middle School Social Studies teacher, when asked what the she loves most about working for Capstone Education Group (CEG). Renee, born in California and educated in Texas, contributes to a joyful, professional adult culture that permeates the CEG organization.
Renee also loves watching her scholars display the school’s core values when resolving conflict. She gets great joy “watching students successfully resolve interpersonal conflict without adult mediation!”
Renee chose to work in urban education to make a difference in the lives of children and adults. “I want to use my gifts to love my neighbors well,” says Renee.
Renee loves Memphis attractions such as the central library, Shelby Farms, and Overton Park. When she retires from urban education, you might find her returning to Hungary, where she was an Au Pair while in college, scooping ice cream and loving everyone who comes her way.
