“I chose to work in urban education because I am passionate about the future of our children,” says Aleesia Isom, Cornerstone Prep Lester 5th grade science teacher. “My goal is to inspire every student to discover his or her gifts and to share those gifts with the world.”
Born in NY, Aleesia loves working in Memphis for CEG. “I love my team of hardworking, passionate teachers who support and encourage me every single day,” says Aleesia.
Aleesia enjoys volunteering, going for a run through midtown, and eating burgers with friends at Huey’s. She also just completed her first New York City marathon.
