Lester Prep: New Middle School in Binghampton

Lester Prep launched a new middle school in August, welcoming 80 6th graders to the school campus located at 320 Carpenter.
Mr. Brearn Wright, founding principal of Lester Prep, shares these thoughts about the new school: “Lester Prep is a new school designed for students and families who want a great education inpreparation for life in college and beyond! We are dedicated to excellence in teaching, learning, and academics. Lester Prep offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities, such as basketball, football, track and field, the Garden Club, Student Ambassadors, and the National Junior Honor Society. Lester Prep empowers students to think critically and to lead in their community. We are honored to work with parents and the community to make Lester Prep the place where Scholars work harder, get smarter, and go farther.”
Lester Prep will add grades 7 and 8 next year, becoming a full middle schools serving Binghampton and surrounding neighborhoods.
