Urban Students Deserve the Best

Urban students consistently attend under resourced schools when compared to their suburban counterparts. Urban students also consistently perform poorly on standardized tests when compared to their suburban counterparts. CEG believes all students, regardless of their zip code, can perform at high levels when provided great teachers, proven instructional methods, adequate facilities and the opportunity to achieve. CEG schools, located in urban communities, give urban students the opportunities they deserve.

This summer, CEG utilized grants and individual donations to upgrade the facilities at all three schools. These upgrades represent CEG’s belief that urban students deserve the best environment in which to learn. CEG hopes students and families see these investments as acts of love, affirmation and support in their life’s journey.
