Michelle Lyons: Administrator of the Year!

Please join us in congratulating Michelle Lyons, Principal of Cornerstone Prep Denver, who was selected as a Tennessee Charter School Center Administrator of the Year! Certainly this is well deserved not only for her leadership over the last year but for a lifetime of amazing leadership in urban education.
Capstone Education Group is deeply grateful and honored to have had Michelle as a leader for the last 5 1/2 years where she and the CPD team have proven the possible in Frayser. Earlier this year, Cornerstone Prep Denver earned the designation as a “Changemaker Charter School.” These schools scored in the top 25% of all public schools in Tennessee with an increase in the percentage of students proficient over pre-pandemic (2019) TNReady scores in ELA and TVAAs scores of 3 or above!
