“My motto in my class is, ‘Every child is a STAR!’”
Originally from Eads, TN, Stephanie Williams finds joy in introducing her students to new and unfamiliar things. She takes special pleasure in watching her students develop an appreciation for music, poetry, dance, and art. She strives to facilitate her students’ connection with the world outside of the classroom and revels in the knowledge that the students have made a connection and are excited to share the new information with their respective families and friends.

“My students come to me with various levels of abilities," Stephanie says. "I encourage and motivate them to build their confidence and to give them the courage to perform in front of an audience.”
Stephanie works as the Performing Arts teacher at Cornerstone Prep Denver. She is a natural born talent and can sing and play several instruments. She can play any song that she hears on the piano! Stephanie earned a B.A in Elementary Education from Lemoyne-Owen and earned a M.A in School Leadership from Cambridge College. Stephanie chose to work in education because she’s a third generation educator.
“My mother, father, grandmother, great aunts, aunts, uncle, and four cousins have worked in education in various positions ranging from professors, principals, administrative assistants, PLC coaches, teachers, and SPED assistants,” Stephanie says.
When Stephanie’s not at work, she loves listening to live music and local talented singers and musicians at local venues. She enjoys trying different foods and restaurants. Some of the places that Stephanie enjoys going to include: Levitt Shell, FedEX Forum, Neil’s Music Room, Beale St., Tom Lee Park, Cooper Young, and Chuckles. In her leisure, she spends time with her family and friends, singing, shopping, and traveling.
