Ebony Jones | Educator Spotlight

Meet Ebony Jones, Dean of Instruction at Cornerstone Prep Denver Campus. Ebony grew up in Jackson, MS and attended undergraduate and graduate school at Delta State University, where she received a Bachelors and Masters in Elementary Education. Later, she earned an EdS in Administration and Supervision from Union University.
When she is not working with her beloved ELA team or CPD scholars, Ebony enjoys Memphis in May festivities, painting pottery at Pitter Patter with her daughter, and shopping at boutiques. You might also catch her singing her favorite Leel James song as she drives to and from school.
Last year, Ebony led her school to earn a TVAAS 5 last year, the highest score the state awards based on TN Ready results. Those results start a trend that can last for generations to come. “The best part of my job is knowing that my work has the ability to positively impact generations to come,” says Ebony.
