Educator Spotlight | Chashonda Davis

Hailing from Mississippi comes a very passionate Chashonda Davis, special education teacher at Lester Prep. She earned her teaching license after completing Teach MS Institute at Ole Miss and has been in the education field for about 18 years now.

Chashonda is motivated to help as many students as possible become academically and culturally aware. She desires for students to know and believe that they can become anything that they want to be with hard work and dedication. Moreover, she wants them to understand that their present circumstance does not dictate their future goals and aspirations.

Her mission as a professional educator and CEG’s mission statement are closely aligned because providing a quality education and preparing students to be productive individuals in their academic studies and their communities is what she strives for daily.

For fun, Chashonda loves traveling with her two daughters to places like China, Mexico, and the Bahamas. She also enjoys decorating for special occasions. She owns and operates Magnolia’s Daughter Luxury Event Planning.
